Event Registration - What to Expect:
ALL
persons entering the track during an event MUST sign the SCCA waiver
form and WEAR
the SCCA wristband.
This
includes persons of all ages, spectators, and workers. This also
includes persons of other clubs entering the track for other purposes.
Registration and Tech Inspection Procedure:

Registration and Tech Inspection are from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. Wrap up registration & tech inspection is from 9:00 am to 9:30 am.

Upon entering the track, go to the Waiver Tent set up by the drag strip scales building.

Sign the waivers including the SCCA waiver and the County of Hawaii Waiver. The County waiver is good for the entire year, so you only need to complete it once a year. There is a special SCCA waiver form for minors.

Receive your SCCA wrist band. The SCCA wrist band is REQUIRED for all people at the track during an event – competitors, workers, and spectators.

Complete the front part of the Registration-Timing & Scoring card and check the car modifications section on the back of the form.

Go to tech for tech inspection. To pass tech inspection, your car must meet mechanical specifications, you must have a helmet, and you must have SCCA-approved numbers and car classes for BOTH sides of your vehicles. You must drive and work in closed toe shoes. Tech will assign you a car number for the event. Be sure that the tech inspector signs the tech inspection section of your Registration-Timing & Scoring card.

If you do not have a permanent number on the car, apply the car number assigned by tech to BOTH SIDES of the car. Also apply the car class to BOTH SIDES of the car.

Take your completed registration-Timing & Scoring form to registration located in the base of the control tower. Present your SCCA membership card with your completed registration form and pay your entry fee. Registration must verify your SCCA membership number each event.

9:30: am Mandatory Driver’s meeting includes a review of important safety rules, supplemental regs, & course walk.

10:am: First car off! Generally, there will be four run groups, you will run one of those heats, work in another. Competitors are required to work a heat. Assignments are made at the driver’s meeting, then posted at the base of the tower on the door.

3:pm: Timed runs should be completed. Time and personnel permitting, we will hold fun runs (additional runs) for $3 for one or $5 for two. Passengers may ride for $1.
Only those who have entered, worked, and run the day of the event may drive the track.
At the conclusion of fun runs the course area must be dismantled, the trash collected, and the area cleaned, including tower and restrooms. Your assistance at this time is greatly appreciated to return the facility to readiness for the next users. The area must be cleared by 4:30pm.
